My natural history work varies from highly-illustrated first non-fiction up to older 7+ works. 2020 saw the publication of The Secret Life of Trees, illustrated by  Vivian Mineker. It introduces first non-fiction readers to the natural history of trees through the eyes of Oakheart the Brave. It has traditional tree stories in it as well as facts, making it a dip-in compendium. A follow-up, The Secret Life of Bees, is due in 2021.

Dance Like a Flamingo (Welbeck), illustrated by Claudia Boldt, was the first in a new series introducing early years children to animals through dance. A follow-up – Sing Like a Whale – is due in 2021.
